Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2024

Taylor Swift leads the individual nominations for the 2024 Kids’ Choice Awards, with six nominations. Following closely behind on Nick’s leaderboard, covered in slime, are Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and Justin Timberlake, each with four nominations.

It’s noteworthy that all five of these artists began their careers at a young age. Cyrus made her Billboard Hot 100 debut at just 13 years old, initially known for her role as Hannah Montana. Swift and Beyoncé were both 16 when they first appeared on the chart (Beyoncé as part of Destiny’s Child). Timberlake and Rodrigo were each 17 when they made their initial impacts (Timberlake as a member of *NSYNC).

Kids Choice Awards 2024 Nominees

Taylor Swift is up for six awards at the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards: favorite female artist, favorite album for "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology," favorite global music star, favorite tour for "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," and two nominations for favorite music collaboration ("Fortnight" with Post Malone and the "Karma" remix with Ice Spice). Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is nominated for favorite male sports star.

The movie "Barbie" also got lots of nominations, with eight in total. It's up for favorite movie, favorite movie actor (Ryan Gosling), and favorite movie actress (Margot Robbie and America Ferrera). In music categories, "Barbie" is nominated for favorite album, favorite song ("Dance the Night" by Dua Lipa and "What Was I Made For?" by Billie Eilish), and favorite music collaboration ("Barbie World" by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice with Aqua).

The awards will air live on July 13 on Nickelodeon, with SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star hosting for the first time in an animated setting celebrating SpongeBob's 25th anniversary.

The 37th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards will happen on July 13, 2024, at 8 PM EST in Los Angeles, California, at the Pauley Pavilion. This special event celebrates the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants. For the first time ever, the ceremony will be hosted by animated characters SpongeBob and Patrick Star, voiced by Tom Kenny and Bill Fagerbakke.

It will be a virtual show set in a colorful, animated world using cool special effects and modern technology. This is different because usually, the awards show takes place in March or April, but this time it's in July.
