A new werewolf horror movie, The Beast Within by Well Go USA, is set to howl into theaters this summer, with a release date of July 26, 2024.

Five years after portraying the wolf-loving Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, the English actor is set to become a werewolf himself in the upcoming monster movie, The Beast Within.

In this upcoming werewolf movie, a series of strange events causes 10-year-old Willow to question her family's secluded life on a fortified compound deep in the English wilderness. She decides to follow her parents on one of their secret late-night journeys into the heart of the ancient forest.

Plot

The movie centers around a young girl, Willow, who lives a secluded life on a fortified property with her parents in the English countryside. A series of strange events pique her curiosity about their isolated existence. One night, she secretly follows her parents on a mysterious trek into the forest, where she witnesses a horrifying transformation that unveils a terrifying family secret.

Harington is now transforming into a wolf himself in the new werewolf thriller.

Although the exclusive trailer (above) doesn’t explicitly reveal it, there are several clues suggesting that the creature Harington transforms into monthly resembles a werewolf. His long claws, fangs, and yellow, canine-like eyes provide some hints, but the repeated shots of the full moon are particularly telling. Additionally, there's a scene where Harington's character, naked and squatting in a cage (or kennel), has a sturdy dog collar strapped around his neck by his wife, played by Ashleigh Cummings.

Decoding The Trailer

Whether he's a werewolf or another terrifying monster from the past, it appears that Harington's personality is drawn to wrapping himself in wolf-themed fur robes to relax on the days following his attacks. We also observe his wife thoughtfully cleaning the blood marks from it.

In one shot, Harington is wrapped in fur, resembling his previous role as the North's ruler more than ever. Indeed, he even proclaims himself the "King of the Forest" in the preview, and bestows a crown upon his daughter, the princess. Regarding Willow, despite her family's "hidden dark family history," it seems she too is affected by it. We observe the young girl removing her own fingernails and developing teeth, a worrisome development.

Alexander J. Farrell's documentary, "The Beast Within," marks its theatrical release on July 26 and will also debut at the Fantasia International Film Festival this summer.
