The Penguin Show Release Date
The TV show "The Penguin" will start on a streaming service called Max in the United States in September 2024. It will have 8 episodes. The show was supposed to start in the middle of 2024, but it was delayed because of some strikes.

Is The Penguin a Character in the DC Universe?
James Gunn says new DC Universe news. Movies like Batman and The Penguin will be in a new group called 'Elseworlds'. They won't link to the main DC Universe. No existing DC characters will show up in them.
This choice stops any chance of mixing with characters from movies like Joker or Justice League that are part of the bigger DC world. Simply put, The Penguin and alike plans will tell their own stories alone, without changing the bigger DCU story at all.

The show gives more about the story. Penguin wants to grow his power in Gotham after Riddler destroys the city. This reflects comic stories where bad guys try to claim parts of Gotham. Sarah Aubrey, the show's EP, aims to show an intimate view of Penguin's power struggle in Gotham.
