Inside Out 2

Inside Out 2 is a 2024 American animated movie by Pixar for Disney. It's a sequel to Inside Out (2015) and directed by Kelsey Mann. The film features voices from Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, and new actors like Maya Hawke and Tony Hale. The story follows Riley's emotions with some new emotions joining in. Announced in 2022, it uses an idea from Pixar's Pete Docter about having many emotions. It premiered on June 10, 2024, and released in theaters on June 14, receiving positive reviews and making $481 million worldwide. It had one of the biggest opening days for an animated film.

Inside Out 2 Plot

Two years after moving to San Francisco, 13-year-old Riley is about to start high school. Her emotions—Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust—create a new part of her mind called "Sense of Self" for her core memories. At an ice hockey camp, Riley hopes to join her school team, but new emotions—Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui—arrive, causing conflicts. Anxiety pushes Riley to change, leading to clashes and mishaps at the camp. The original emotions work to restore balance as Riley faces challenges with her friendships and self-identity.
