He even offers to do a photoshoot with her.
Christian invites Ana for coffee but leaves abruptly after she admits she's a romantic. He sends her rare books as a gift and they meet again at a bar after Ana gets drunk. Her friend José tries to kiss her, but Christian stops him. Ana gets sick and wakes up in Christian's hotel room the next day, glad nothing happened between them.
They start dating, but Christian insists on a non-disclosure agreement about their relationship and reveals he likes BDSM. Ana, a virgin, tries to understand. They have sex and Christian gives her expensive gifts. Ana moves to Seattle with Kate and continues seeing Christian, but she wants more than he offers. When she visits her mom, Christian surprises her and they go gliding. Back in Seattle, Ana tries Christian's BDSM but finds it too much. She leaves him, feeling his ways are not right for her.
