Who is 10jin?
Tenjin Kotone is a popular Japanese VTuber and singer. She started her YouTube channel in April 2018 and quickly became famous, especially for her singing. Her covers of popular Vocaloid songs, like "Senbonzakura" and "Charles," have millions of views. Tenjin also creates other types of videos, such as chat streams and gaming videos. In late 2020, she signed with a music label.
According to her story, Tenjin Kotone is a former god who was once worshipped by people but then forgotten. She learned that humans love anime, voice acting, and idols, so she decided to become a VTuber to entertain them. She calls herself "the god of entertainment."
Tenjin has two main looks: one with a modern Shinto-inspired outfit and another with a punk rock style. She is cool and mature when singing, but playful and excitable in her other videos. She speaks with a Kansai accent, which sometimes makes her fumble her words, earning her the nickname "kamisama."

From April 2019 to August 2019, Tenjin co-hosted a monthly variety show called "Kami Summit" on the REALITY app.
She hosted this show with other VTubers like Sister Claire, Kazamiya Matsuri, and Sakura Miko. Tenjin became popular for her singing, especially her covers of famous Vocaloid songs. She has millions of views on these videos. She also creates chat streams, gaming videos, and interviews.
Her success in music led her to sign with a music label in late 2020. Tenjin calls herself "the god of entertainment" because, according to her story, she is a former god who learned what modern humans love and decided to entertain them as a VTuber.
