Why is Elden Ring DLC Not Working on PS-5?
ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree is coming out soon, but there's a new patch causing problems for players on Steam Deck and desktop Linux. Patch 1.12 makes it impossible to play online because Easy Anti-Cheat isn't working right on Linux. Also, if you leave the game idle on a Steam Deck for more than 5 minutes, it stops working and you have to restart.
The ELDEN RING team on X (Twitter) posted that they are fixing the Steam Deck bug. But they said nothing on the cheat block issue yet. It's a pain, as the game should be Steam Deck "Okay." Hopefully, they will fix these issues soon.
How to Fix?
Gamers on PlayStation can get ready for the new Elden Ring addon, Shadow of the Erdtree, 2 days before it comes out. Some players had trouble getting the DLC, even though they bought it. To solve this, delete Elden Ring and download it again. To solve this, you should delete Elden Ring and download it again. Then, you can easily download the DLC without any issues.
For Xbox and PC players, they must wait for the DLC release. Xbox players can access it sooner by setting the console region to New Zealand. As for Steam players, they should restart Steam and make sure all DLCs are selected in the game properties to start downloading the DLC.
14 Essential Tips for Playing the DLC
