Demon Slayer Season 4

Demon Slayer Season 4 started on May 12, 2024, on Crunchyroll. The season continues from the Swordsmith Village arc and focuses on the Hashira Training arc.

In the first episode, the Wind and Serpent Hashiras go on a rescue mission and find the entrance to the Infinity Castle, but it closes before they can enter. Tanjiro is recovering, with Zenitsu and Inosuke returning to support him at the Hashira headquarters. Kagaya is replaced by his wife, Amane, at a Hashira meeting. She notices new marks on the demon slayers and thinks Muzan will target Nezuko because she can withstand sunlight.

In the second episode, we learn about the Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka's past and his survivor's guilt. Tanjiro helps him open up. Kanao asks for training from the Insect Hashira Shinobu, who offers to teach her how to avenge her sister's death. The third episode focuses on Tanjiro's training with the former Sound Hashira, Tengen, which motivates the other Demon Slayers to work harder.

In the fourth episode, Tanjiro trains with the Mist Hashira, Muichiro, who is very strict. A paper airplane contest helps ease the tension. Muichiro also secretly trains with the Serpent and Wind Hashiras but is being tracked by Muzan's demons. The fifth episode shows Tanjiro training with the Love Hashira, then the Serpent Hashira, and finally facing the Wind Hashira. He then trains with Zenitsu under the Stone Hashira in the sixth episode.

The season follows Tanjiro's journey to become stronger with the help of the Hashiras, while Muzan searches for Nezuko. The story builds up to the final battle against Muzan and his demons, leading to the series' climax.

Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 6 Recap

In Episode 6, titled “The Strongest in The Demon Slayer Corps,” Tanjiro and Zenitsu meet the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima, at his mountain training grounds. Himejima explains that they need to complete three tough tasks: standing under a cold waterfall, lifting three giant logs, and pushing a huge boulder 358 feet. On their first day, Tanjiro sees Inosuke already training hard.

Tanjiro and his group realize how physically demanding the tasks are. Inosuke believes Himejima is the strongest in the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro completes the first two tasks but struggles with the final challenge. After breaking his sandals, he returns to camp and meets other demon hunters who decided to quit the Hashira training and join the support team.

Genya joins Tanjiro and advises him to use repetitive motion to move the boulder. He explains that focusing on repetitive actions helps increase concentration, heart rate, and body temperature. Tanjiro learns that Himejima and Genya use this technique by reliving past traumatic experiences to enhance their physical abilities.
