Harrison Butker Career

Harrison Butker was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round (233rd overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. On September 26, 2017, the Kansas City Chiefs signed him off the Panthers' practice squad.

Butker made his NFL debut in Week 4 of the 2017 season during a 29–20 victory against the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football. In that game, he missed his first career field goal attempt from 46 yards but successfully made his next three, including a game-winning kick. In the following game against the Houston Texans, Butker demonstrated his reliability by converting all five field goal attempts in a 42–34 road victory.

In Week 2 of the 2018 season, during a 42–37 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Butker achieved a career-high by converting six extra points. He concluded his second NFL season with impressive stats, successfully making 65 of 69 extra point attempts and 24 of 27 field goal attempts, further solidifying his reputation as a consistent and clutch kicker.
