JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a popular Japanese manga series created by Hirohiko Araki. It started in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1987 and moved to Ultra Jump in 2005. The story spans nine parts, each with a new protagonist nicknamed "JoJo." It's one of Shueisha's biggest manga series, with 134 volumes so far.
The manga inspired a 13-episode animated series based on its third part, Stardust Crusaders, released from 1993 to 2002. A movie for the first part, Phantom Blood, came out in Japan in 2007. In 2012, a TV anime by David Production began airing, covering parts from Phantom Blood to Stone Ocean, with 190 episodes by 2022. A live-action film for the fourth part, Diamond Is Unbreakable, premiered in Japan in 2017.
