Pretty Little Liars is a TV show for American teenagers that has drama and mystery. It was made for Max by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring. This is the fourth TV show in the Pretty Little Liars series, which is based on books by Sara Shepard and follows the same story as the earlier shows.

The main actors are Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco. In September 2020, Warner Bros. announced that they were making the show with Aguirre-Sacasa as the leader. HBO Max quickly decided to produce the show by the end of the same month.

They filmed it in New York during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the first show in the series to be on a streaming service instead of ABC Family/Freeform. The first season, named Original Sin, began on July 28th, 2022. In September of the same year, a second season was confirmed and it will be titled Summer School.

Pretty Little Liars Summer School Ending Explained

The conclusion of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School had some unexpected turns. Viewers were surprised by two major events in Episode 8. First, we found out the real identity of Bloody Rose, which was revealed in a way like the movie Scream 2, not how it's usually done in PLL. Additionally, a character we thought might be doing something suspicious ended up dead.

The person who died at the end of the season was Dr. Sullivan. Archie, who was not in prison, actually killed Dr. Sullivan because she was trying to figure out if he had murdered her son. Archie, also known as A, didn't hesitate and killed her in a cruel way, not granting her final wish.

Tabby was kidnapped in the final part of the story, and she had to confront Bloody Rose, who turned out to be Mrs. Langsberry! In Season 1, it was revealed that she is the mother of the villain. This season, she has taken over her son's evil actions. Mrs. Langsberry didn't act alone, she had help from Wes, who was not liked by many people. Working together, they joined forces and caused a lot of problems throughout the season.

Mrs. Langsberry wanted Tabby and Imogen to confess that they had lied about accusing Chip. However, because Tabby was stubborn, she would not confess to anything untrue. Wes, however, appeared to be motivated by a wish for recognition, which did not turn out the way he expected. In the end, they couldn't make the Liars confess and ended up revealing their true identity.
