QB Stetson Bennett Status Update

We still don’t know much about why Bennett left, or when he might return. He did play in some games before leaving but then had to step away due to an off-field issue.

Rams coach Sean McVay hasn’t said much about Bennett, and he’s still on the Rams’ active roster for next season with Dresser Winn. Neither of them is likely to be the best choice to replace Matthew Stafford as the Rams’ backup quarterback.

The Rams may have to look for a backup quarterback in the draft or in free agency.
