Kalki 2898 AD Plot
In 3102 BC, Ashwathamma is cursed by Krishna to be immortal until he helps Kalki, the last avatar of Vishnu. By 2898 AD, the city of Kasi is ruled by the god-king Yaskin, who conducts cruel experiments to extend his life. Refugee Raaya and the immortal Ashwathamma team up to protect Sumathi, who is pregnant with Kalki, from Yaskin's forces. Bhairava, a bounty hunter, tries to capture Sumathi but eventually helps her escape after discovering her true importance. Yaskin, rejuvenated by a serum, vows to capture Sumathi himself. The film follows their struggles in a post-apocalyptic world and sets the stage for the arrival of Kalki.
