Alita learns "Panzer-Kunst," a fighting style for machines, and fights Grewishka, a killer cyborg.

Alita joins a Motorball race to help Hugo, but he gets in trouble with Zapan, who kills Hugo's friend and blames him. Alita saves Hugo, but he dies trying to reach Zalem.
