Andy Murray, hurt his ankle during a match at the Miami Open on March 24, 2024. His anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) and calcaneofibular ligament (CFL) in his left ankle got torn. Even though he was injured, Murray kept playing and finished the match with some help from the medical staff.
The most recent news about Murray's injury is that he won't have surgery for his ankle. He is getting better, and he doesn't need to wear a protective boot anymore. Murray's team spokesperson said that his recovery is going well, and he hopes to start practicing on the court again soon.
