Ava Phillips, a 17-year-old girl from Angleton went missing and was last seen leaving the Angleton High School around 10 a.m. She did not return home and her car was found in school parking lot, with all her personal belongings, including her phone, keys, and backpack. She was seen getting into a white car.

She was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a gray top, and slippers, and her hair was in a loose braid. Perez shared a photo of Ava on her Facebook account, asking people for helping her finding her daughter.

"Please please help me find my baby," she pleaded. Houston Astros player Alex Bregman also shared the post and asked his fans to help find Ava.

Ava Phillips has been found after authorities said that she left school on Tuesday morning and didn’t return home. On Wednesday evening, the Angleton Police Department said that Phillips was found and was safe. She has been reunited with her family.

The department did not provide details as to how she was found.

Ava Phillips was last seen at Angleton High School. Her mother, Kailey Perez, suspected that Phillips was with her boyfriend and was heading to Austin, which is nearly 200 miles away from the town of Angleton.

While Ava Phillips was missing, Perez claimed that Ava called her from a different number and was sounding distressed. 'She called me from a blocked number. She sounded scared and I don’t think she’s in control. She told me she’d come home, but she hasn’t. I just want her home safely. She sounds very scared. Her voice is very shaky. I don’t think that she’s in control. I think that someone’s telling her what to say. She's a beautiful, sweet girl who would never run away,' the distressed mother said.
