Aydin Brown, a 14-year-old American teenager, has been missing since 7 a.m. on Thursday. He was last seen leaving the Caribbean Princess cruise ship in the port town of Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany.
The disappearance has raised concerns and prompted a thorough investigation by local authorities.
What Happened to Aydin Brown?
Aydin Brown was on the Caribbean Princess cruise with his grandmother. An argument between them reportedly led to Aydin leaving the ship. Surveillance footage shows Aydin leaving the ship wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, and retro shoes. He stands about five feet seven inches tall and has long dark hair.
A potential witness, described as a slim individual between 20 and 25 years old with long hair braided into a ponytail, was seen with Aydin at the Warnemünde train station around 7:30 a.m. The witness was wearing a light shirt, blue pants, a black jacket, and brown headphones. Authorities are urging this witness to contact the criminal investigation department in Rostock.
Has Aydin Brown Been Found?
As of now, Aydin Brown has not been found. His family, especially his cousin Anne Yaktiyol, is deeply worried. Yaktiyol shared on social media that Aydin might have been lured away after he left the ship. Princess Cruises has been actively collaborating with German law enforcement on the case.
The company has arranged for Aydin's mother to fly to Germany to aid in the search efforts. They are also assisting Aydin's grandmother, who left the ship Thursday night. Authorities continue their search for Aydin and the witness seen with him.

The teenager is described as approximately 5’8” tall, with brown hair, and brown eyes, and weighing around 220 pounds. He was last seen carrying a large black backpack with "AMAZON" written on it. The efforts of local authorities and the swift response from Princess Cruises are ongoing as the search for Aydin continues.
