Cameron Boyce was rumored to have dated Brenna D'Amico, his co-star from the Descendants movies. They met on set and were believed to have dated from 2015 for about two years. However, Boyce denied these rumors in an interview, humorously stating that he was "dating everyone and dating none of them."

Despite the rumors, Boyce and D'Amico were good friends. It was also rumored that Cameron Boyce was in relationships with Paulina Char (2019), Sophie Reynolds (2015) and Peyton List (2012 - 2015). But it is not know if the news was true or not. After Boyce's sudden death in July 2019 due to an epileptic seizure, D'Amico paid a heartfelt tribute to him on Instagram, expressing her deep sorrow and admiration for him. At the time of his passing, there was no public confirmation of Boyce having a girlfriend. D'Amico has since been romantically linked to actor Christian Weissmann.

Cameron Mica Boyce (May 28, 1999 – July 6, 2019) was a well-known American actor. He started his career as a child actor, featuring in the 2008 films Mirrors and Eagle Eye, and later in the comedy film Grown Ups (2010) and its 2013 sequel. His first major role was on the Disney Channel comedy series Jessie, which aired from 2011 to 2015.

Boyce continued to gain fame with Disney, notably playing Carlos in the Descendants film series, appearing in all three movies from 2015 to 2019, along with various related media. He also voiced Jake in the Disney Junior series Jake and the Never Land Pirates from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, he starred in the Disney XD comedy series Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything from 2015 to 2017.

Sadly, just before the premiere of Descendants 3 in 2019, Boyce passed away at the age of 20 due to epilepsy complications. After his death, he starred in the thriller film Runt (2020) and was a series regular on the Amazon Prime Video series Paradise City (2021).

His paternal grandmother, Jo Ann Boyce (née Allen), was part of the Clinton Twelve, a group of African-American students who integrated a high school in the Southern United States in 1956 following the Brown v. Board of Education decision. His paternal grandfather hailed from the Caribbean.

Boyce lived in the Los Angeles area with his parents and younger sister until May 2019, when he moved in with his former co-stars Karan Brar and Sophie Reynolds. Trained in various dance styles, including breakdancing, hip-hop, modern dance, jazz, tap, and ballet, his favorite was breakdancing. He was a member of the breakdancing crew "X Mob" along with four of his friends.

Cameron Boyce made his debut in May 2008 in Panic! at the Disco's music video "That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed)" as a young Ryan Ross. He appeared in General Hospital: Night Shift and starred in the horror film Mirrors and the mystery-thriller Eagle Eye that same year.

In 2010, he played Keith, Adam Sandler's spoiled son, in Grown Ups and showcased his dance skills on The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers. Boyce guest-starred on Disney Channel's Good Luck Charlie and danced on Dancing with the Stars in 2011. He then starred as Luke Ross on Disney Channel's Jessie.

In 2015, he played Carlos in Disney Channel's Descendants series, reprising his role in its sequels and animated shorts. Boyce also starred in Runt and had roles in Mrs. Fletcher and Steps. Posthumously, he was featured in the film Hubie Halloween, which was dedicated to his memory. Boyce also co-founded a clothing line, Archives, released in November 2019.

What happened to Cameron Boyce?

On July 6, 2019, Cameron Boyce, aged 20, was discovered unresponsive at his Los Angeles home and pronounced dead at the scene after authorities were alerted. His family later revealed that Boyce passed away in his sleep from a seizure, which was related to an ongoing medical condition he was undergoing treatment for.

Initially, the cause of death was not immediately disclosed pending further investigation following an autopsy. On July 9, 2019, Boyce's family confirmed that his death resulted from an epileptic seizure, a condition he had been diagnosed with previously.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner later released autopsy results on July 30, 2019, confirming that Boyce's passing was due to a sudden unexpected death of epilepsy. Following his cremation, his ashes were returned to his family.
