Fight Night: the Million-Dollar Heist Release Date

Peacock has announced that "Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist," a limited series about Muhammad Ali's big comeback in 1970 in Atlanta, will start streaming on Thursday, September 5. The new TV show has eight episodes and is made by NBC Universal.

Shaye Ogbonna and director Craig Brewer created it together. The cast has famous actors like Hart, Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, Cheadle, and Terrence Howard. "Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist" starts on September 5 on Peacock. You can see a preview of it in the video above.

Plot

The new show on Peacock tells the story of a robbery during Muhammad Ali’s big fight in 1970. It says this changed one man’s life and made Atlanta an important place for Black people. The trailer shows a party happening on that special night. Everyone wears clothes from the 1970s and the room is lit in purplish-blue light.

People drink, gamble, and have fun. But then the mood changes slowly. The music gets quieter and scarier, hinting that something bad will happen. At the end of the video, Don Cheadle, who plays a detective, warns that the whole city is going to become a crime scene with the sound of a gun being loaded.
