In ‘Gushing Over Magical Girls,’ we follow Utena, a shy girl who loves magical girls. But things get weird when a mascot named Venalita gives her magic powers. Instead of being a good magical girl, Utena ends up joining the bad guys, the Enormita group. She starts enjoying being bad and even fights against the magical girls she used to look up to. The story is about Utena's journey as she figures out who she is and what she wants, all while dealing with her new powers and mixed feelings towards her old heroes.
