Is Flick Leaving Home and Away?
There are rumours surrounding that Flick is leaving Home and Away as she hasn't been seen filming out at Palm Beach recently. Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and her brother Cash arrived at screens in 2021. Felicity, a party girl, caused trouble for her policeman brother by getting them evicted from their rental house because of noise complaints. Felicity's relationship with Tane (Ethan Browne) has been a big part of her story.
They met in the club where Felicity worked. After some problems, including Tane accusing Felicity of stalking, they got together. They got engaged in September 2022 and married in March 2023, but their marriage ended in October because Felicity was still taking birth control after agreeing to try for a baby. It has not yet been confirmed whether Flick is leaving the show.
Felicity Learns About Tane and Harper
Tane stuns Felicity with a post-enclosure kiss. Harper tries appeasement by claiming it was nothing. Even though she seems soothed, Tane knows he must have a constructive conversation with Felicity and makes his way to her.
Tane explains why he kissed Harper, and Felicity responds maturely. However, they end up sleeping together as old feelings come back. Afterward, Tane tells Felicity it was a mistake and can't happen again. To make things clear, Tane says he's going to New Zealand and doesn't know if or when he'll come back.
Will Flick and Tane Reunite?
Felicity Newman decides not to get back with Tane Parata on Home and Away next week. They had grown apart in their marriage but hooked up in a moment of weakness. After their night together, Felicity hoped they could reunite, but Tane called it a "mistake" and said he was moving to New Zealand.
Next Wednesday (March 27), Felicity meets her brother Cash, who's now a private investigator. Cash worries that Felicity might still hope for a reunion with Tane. However, Felicity tells Cash that the one-night stand and Tane's reaction give her closure, confirming that they are over. Now, Felicity feels free and ready to move on with her life.
Who is Jacqui Purvis?
Jacqui Purvis stars as Felicity "Flick" Newman on the show. She joined the main cast in 2021. Jacqui grew up in Melbourne. She gained recognition for her role in the short film Undertow in 2017, winning awards at several festivals. She appeared in Neighbours as Melissa Lohan in 2019 and also had roles in Mammon and Black Comedy that year.
In 2020, she was in another well-received short film, A Lion Returns. In 2023, she wrote, produced, and acted in a short film titled Voicemails are Forever, co-starring with Adam Rowland as Remi Carter.
