Joy Reid Career

Joy Reid began her journalism career in 1997 after leaving a business consulting firm in New York to work for a morning show on WSVN Channel 7 in South Florida. In 2003, she left journalism to join America Coming Together, opposing the Iraq War and President George W. Bush. Reid returned to broadcasting as a talk radio host and worked on Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign.
