Is Loren Johnson Leaving Chicago Med?

There is no official announcement whether Loren Johson is leaving Chicago Med. Loren is played by Henderson Wade and was introduced in Season 8. He's a general surgeon and a medical helicopter pilot who used to be a flight paramedic in the military. In the clip, Maggie and Loren are flying in a helicopter when it suddenly goes down in a remote area. Gaffney's Dr. Dean Archer tells the ED that the helicopter had "some weather issues" and went down.

Loren then passes out and Maggie checks his pulse as she tells him that he's bleeding into his chest. She performs a medical procedure but it doesn't seem to do much. As they wait for help, Loren's condition worsens and he tells Maggie that he's "really cold" just before he passes out. Maggie keeps repeating his name and listening for a heartbeat while the words "must stay alive" scroll across the screen. Will Loren pass away before he and Maggie can start a new life together? Or will Gaffney's team be able to save him in time?
