Career
Stefan Mitrović could play for either Canada or Serbia. In June 2020, he talked with the Canadian U20 team while also getting a Serbian passport. In August 2021, he played for the Serbia U20 team in a friendly match against Italy and later joined the Serbia U21 team, where he scored a goal against Ukraine.
In December 2021, he accepted a call from Canada for a training camp, but it was canceled because of COVID-19. Ultimately, Mitrović chose to play for the senior Serbia national team and made his debut in a UEFA Nations League match against Sweden on September 24, 2022.

Career
Aleksandar Mitrović was a talented young player for Serbia. He scored four goals in the 2012 UEFA European Under-19 qualifiers but got a red card in his first game at the finals against France. In 2013, he helped Serbia's U19 team win the championship by scoring a goal and making two assists, which earned him the Golden Player title.
Mitrović joined the senior national team in 2013. He scored his first goal in a World Cup qualifier against Croatia. He played well in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and scored a big goal against Portugal in 2021, helping Serbia qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
