Thomas Tuchel, born on August 29, 1973, is a German football manager and former player. He recently managed Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and is regarded as one of the top football coaches globally.
Tuchel, originally from Krumbach, Germany, retired from playing football at 25 due to a knee injury. He started coaching in 2000 with VfB Stuttgart's youth teams. In 2009, he led FC Augsburg II before moving to Mainz 05.
After leaving Mainz in 2014, he joined Borussia Dortmund in 2015, where he won the DFB-Pokal before being dismissed in 2017. Tuchel then managed Paris Saint-Germain from 2018, winning two league titles and guiding the team to their first UEFA Champions League final.
