During Friday's play-in game against the Pelicans, Keegan Murray from the Kings hurt his left hip and had to go to the locker room. It seemed like he slipped on a wet part of the court. He was holding his hip as he walked to the locker room. Trey Lyles and Colby Jones might have to play more if Murray can't come back. He's important for the Kings' offense. Since 2022, Keegan Murray has been playing for the Sacramento Kings in the NBA. He was picked as the fourth overall choice in the 2022 NBA Draft. In his first game at the NBA Summer League against the Golden State Warriors, he scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds, helping his team win. His outstanding performance earned him the NBA Summer League MVP title.

Throughout the summer league, he showed his skills by scoring 23 points per game, grabbing seven rebounds, and making 40% of his three-point shots. Keegan continued to impress in his regular-season debut on October 22, where he scored 19 points, grabbed five rebounds, and blocked two shots in a game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He set a career-high in points on January 20, 2023, with 29 points and 14 rebounds in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

In March of the same year, he made history by surpassing Donovan Mitchell's rookie record for the most three-pointers in a season. By the end of his rookie season, he had made a total of 206 three-pointers and was named to the All-Rookie First Team. In December 2023, Murray had a remarkable game against the Utah Jazz, where he scored a career-high 47 points.
