The Cubs revealed a statue of Hall of Fame second baseman Ryne Sandberg outside Wrigley Field before Sunday's final game against the New York Mets. Sandberg,said the ceremony was very touching because he was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

He said, "My life changed a lot in 1984 but it was nothing like what happened six months ago." He added, "My thoughts today are love, life, family and friends."
