Before joining the Lakers, he played for the New Orleans Pelicans. Davis has achieved many honors in his career, including being a nine-time NBA All-Star and winning multiple NBA awards for his outstanding performance.

Davis had a remarkable college career playing for the Kentucky Wildcats. In his first and only season with Kentucky, he led the team to win the NCAA championship in 2012 and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament. His exceptional skills and dominance on the court made him the first overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
