What happened to Jack on Station 19?

In the Season 6 finale of Grey Damon, Jack Gibson fell into a sinkhole and suffered a severe head injury. He collapsed in the center of the room and remained unconscious as Season 6 came to an end.

In the Season 7 premiere, it was confirmed that Gibson had survived the fall, but tests at the hospital revealed that he had suffered a traumatic brain injury. He was diagnosed with Encephalomalacia, a type of scarring in the brain caused by past traumatic head injuries.

His teammates believed that he would recover quickly and would work through the pain through physical therapy. However, doctors explained that Gibson's injuries looked similar to those of football and hockey players, and that people with brain injuries later develop CTE, a progressive, degenerative disease that is seen in people who have had multiple concussions or traumatic brain injuries. The severity of the injury was so severe that doctors had to remove part of his skull to access a hematoma, which threatened his life.

Jack is leaving Station 19 because of his health issues force him to leave firefighting early in Station 19 season 7, impacting his close-knit firehouse family. The final firehouse dinner in Station 19 season 7, episode 2 celebrates Jack's career while reminding him of his loss.

The moment becomes even more emotional when the entire crew joins him, supporting him as best they can. However, considering the conclusion of the series, killing off the character after he's already been exposed to the fact that his career as a fireman may be over as soon as he realizes it.

Damon couldn't reveal what Jack's future plans were, but he does have some ideas on where the former fireman's skills can be used, so fans can be sure that he will still be a part of the series.

Grey Damon has joined the cast of the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, Station 19, as Jack Gibson. He was born on September 24th, 1987 in Los Angeles, California. Gibson is an American actor who is well-known for his work on Friday Night Lights, Chloe King's The Nine Lives, and Station 19.He is a former Seattle Fire Department firefighter who was forced out of his job due to a head injury.

He made his debut in an episode of The CW’s 90210 on February 3, 2009. He went on to have minor roles in Greek, 10 Things I hate about You, and True Blood.In 2010, he got a regular role on the CW’s Friday Night Lights as Hastings Ruckle. He then starred as Brian in the short-lived The Nine Lives Of Chloe King (which was canceled after one season). In 2012, he had a recurring role on The Secret Circle. He got a recurring role on Freeform’s Twisted as Archie.

In 2011, he starred as Destinee’s main love interest, Paris, in the 2011 music video for “True Love.” In February 2013, it was announced that he had been cast as Grayson in the drama series Star Crossed (originally called Oxygen) on The CW.

It was also announced in early August 2013 that he would join the cast of American Horror Story: Coven.In 2016, he was announced to be joining the cast of The Flash’s season 3 as Mirror Master.He was later cast as Jack Gibson in the spin off in the Gray’s Anatomy.
