When will Brandon Ingram Return?
After being away for a while, Brandon Ingram, a small forward for the New Orleans Pelicans, is coming back to play in the last game of the season against the LA Lakers on Sunday. This made Pelicans fans happy as he hasn't played since March 21 because of a bruised knee. He's been practicing more lately. He won't play in Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings, which is one of the last three games for the New Orleans team.
Lakers fans might worry that Brandon Ingram will play really well against them in Sunday's last game of the season. But actually, this season, he hasn't scored as much as usual when playing against his old team. In the three games against LA, Brandon Ingram, who was picked second in 2016, scores about 19 points per game, making 43.8% of his shots. But throughout this season, he usually scores about 20.9 points per game, making 49.0% of his shots. The Lakers have won two out of three games against the Pelicans. So, even with Ingram coming back, the Lakers have a good chance of winning if they play well.

Ingram said these influences helped him improve a lot, but his dad laid the foundation for his skills as a player.
Brandon's dad was a referee for high school and college basketball games. He said Brandon learned the game well, both mentally and physically.
