Career
On January 28, 2023, the New York Jets hired Nathaniel Hackett as their new offensive coordinator after they fired Mike LaFleur. Hackett joined the team to help improve their offense. However, the Jets had a rough start in the 2024 season, winning only two of their first five games. Because of this, head coach Robert Saleh was also let go.
After these changes, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich took over and decided that Hackett would no longer be in charge of calling plays. This means that Hackett's role changed as the team tried to turn things around.

Coaching History
Nathaniel Hackett started his coaching career at UC Davis and Stanford before joining the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006. He worked there for two years, then moved to the Buffalo Bills. In 2010, he became a quarterbacks coach at Syracuse and later was promoted to offensive coordinator.
In 2013, Hackett returned to the Bills as offensive coordinator. He then joined the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he helped them have a strong rushing attack in 2017. Later, he became the offensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers and the head coach of the Denver Broncos in 2022. However, he was fired after a tough season.
