Fat Joe born Joseph Antonio Cartagena is an American rapper. His brother introduced him to hip-hop. In 1992, he started his music career with Digg as a member of the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.). In 1993, he did solo work with his debut album, Represent. Fat Joe founded the hip-hop group Terror Squad and its record label in the late 1990s, signing artists like Big Pun, Remy Ma, and Cuban Link.
