Who is Michael Earley?
Michael Earley is the head coach of Texas A&M's baseball team. Previously, he spent three seasons coaching the club at first base and hitting, leading them to a 153-62 record and two College World Series appearances. In 2024, the Aggies saw one of their strongest offensive seasons under his direction.
Following his graduation from Indiana University, Earley was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team for 2010. He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox, and he played in their minor league system for six years, all the way up to Triple-A.
Earley spent five years as an Arizona State coach before joining the New York Mets as an associate scout following his playing career. Spencer Torkelson, the first overall selection in the 2020 MLB Draft, was among the elite players he assisted in developing there. As they continue to succeed, Earley is thrilled to lead Texas A&M.
