After two weeks, she shared more about the accident. She talked about how the police asked if she wanted to blame the driver who parked his truck in the middle of the road without any warning signs. Pelumi felt it wasn't about blaming someone, but she shouldn't have been driving late because of a bribe issue earlier that day at the border. She realized her life was at risk because of it.
She mentioned her solo trip and how it made her think about if an ordinary Black traveler could travel safely through Africa without help. Sadly, her experiences showed it's not easy. She's grateful to be alive and happy her car is getting fixed. She thanked everyone for their kind words.
