Rúben Amorim who full name is Rúben Filipe Marques Amorim. He is a Portuguese professional football manager and former player who was born on 27 January 1985. Currently, he is the manager of Primeira Liga club Sporting CP.
Ruben Amorim mainly Played as a midfielder. He can also deployed as a winger or right-back. He professionally spends his career along with Belenenses and Benfica. After the retirement in the year 2017, in the year 2018, he started coaching at Casa Pia.
but in the same year, he left due to a disagreement with the Portuguese Football Federation. After that in December 2019, he became the coach of Braga B, then he moved to lead the main team. Then he became the manager of Sporting CP for €10 million in March 2020.

In the year 2008, He started his Primeira Liga journey with Belenenses. From the year 2005–06 season onwards, He became a regular player. He moved to Benfica and started playing regularly in his first season this happened in the year 2008.
In 2012, At Benfica, he was affected by injuries and disagreements which led to a loan to Braga. In 2013–14 he returned to Benfica, and In 2015 started winning many titles before joining Al-Wakrah in Qatar. In 2017, he got retired. He made an appearance in the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.
