They enjoyed a memorable evening at a sold-out Taylor Swift concert in Liverpool, and Lara shared her excitement and joy on social media. Although she has been traveling frequently for work and leisure, there are no indications that she plans to leave GMA. Lara continues to be a regular anchor on the show. She spent several years as a lifestyle reporter for WABC-TV. Lara hosted Antiques Roadshow on PBS in 2004 and 2005, and its spin-off, Antiques Roadshow FYI, in 2005. She also hosts Flea Market Flip on HGTV and the Great American Country channel. In April 2018, Lara announced that she would appear on Good Morning America only three days a week to focus on her television producing work.

Lara Spencer Career
Lara Spencer grew up in Garden City, Long Island, and graduated from Garden City High School in 1987. She attended Pennsylvania State University on a diving scholarship, earning a degree in broadcast journalism in 1991. After college, she worked as a multimedia journalist at WDEF-TV in Tennessee and later at News 12 Long Island. She joined WABC-TV, where she gained national attention for her coverage of the TWA Flight 800 crash.
In 1999, Spencer became a national correspondent for ABC's Good Morning America. She married David Haffenreffer in 2000, but they divorced in 2015. Spencer married Richard McVey in 2018. She left Good Morning America in 2018 to focus on her production company, DuffKat Media. Spencer created and produced the game show It's Worth What? and the TV series Flea Market Flip. She also published two books, I Brake for Yard Sales and Flea Market Fabulous.
