Max Muncy Injury Update
Max Muncy, the Los Angeles Dodgers' All-Star infielder, is recovering well from an oblique injury. He is currently with the team in San Francisco and has been hitting off a tee, fielding groundballs, and throwing. Muncy was put on the 60-day injured list on June 21 due to a right oblique strain and started on the 10-day IL on May 17.
He is expected to take live batting practice soon and might go on a rehab assignment. Muncy likely won't return until after the All-Star break. He had a strong start to the 2024 season with a .798 OPS and nine home runs.
What Happened to Max Muncy?
