The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) led a six-week nationwide campaign named "Operation We Will Find You 2" from May 20 to June 24, which led to the return of 200 children who were missing throughout the country. This campaign concentrated on regions with a large concentration of children who were critically missing and brought together federal, state, and local authorities in seven different federal judicial areas.The campaign's success included the rescue of children who were at risk of running away and those who were taken by people they were not living with. Among the children rescued, 57% were found within seven days following the USMS's involvement in their cases. The operation also succeeded in taking 123 children out of perilous situations and ensuring the safety of 77 others.

The Youngest Missing Child
